Grateful Friday

Grateful Friday

Sometimes, when I watch my tiny people play, all I can think about is how blessed we are.
There is so much goodness and happiness in our life. I am so grateful that I get to spend every day with these wonderful little ones, watching them grow and learn, share, hug and generally being the most amazing little people I know.
This week I am grateful for sunshine, for lovely new handknits, (thank you!), and for water that just-so comes out of a tap when we need it, be it for filling paddling pools, washing muddy feet or preparing for water-gun duels.

I am grateful for parcels arriving for sweet Miss Emily. It’s her birthday very soon, though it’s ages away if you were to ask her, of course. There is something very wonderful about receiving parcels someone put together just for you, and it is such a great way to stay close to our friends and family abroad.
I am grateful for my incredible Emily, I can’t believe she will be seven so soon. She is such a smart, independent and seriously funny soul. On that note, I am very grateful for National Geographic for Kids, because it is the perfect magazine for our big girl.

I am really, really grateful for our friends who have been giving us all the time and space (and support & listening ears) we needed to make it through a few weeks with very little sleep. I am grateful for the doctors who saw our Georgie within just an hour of calling up. I am grateful for a healing ear infection and for a much happier boy.
I am also grateful for Netflix, we’re watching 4400 at the moment and it’s fun.
Last but not least, I am grateful for bubbles and two brothers who so very much love each other.

What are you grateful for?
