Goodness, it has been an interesting week.
We have all been ill with a pretty persistent cold around here, high fevers, running noses and very tired little ones.
It has been a week full of tea and comfort foods.
Not much got done and we still have to finish the last two crafts for our Passover Plague Crafts. Passover starts on Monday evening, so I am hoping to share the last two crafts tonight.
It has also been a very difficult homeschool week and we had to make some big changes to our rhythm, lesson plan and home life, but that is the beauty of working and learning at home.
I am really grateful for friends who were so very honest with me in sharing their homeschool struggles and woes with me, it gave me the confidence and inspiration to forgive myself for feeling like we failed and to keep trying with joy and happiness to do what we know in our hearts to be the right path for our family.
(Thank you Vikki, Lucy and Gemma for homeschool advice and sharing your wisdom. Thank you Betty, Emma, Lisa, Kristin, Eva, June and Darby for kind words and listening ears.)
We are all much better now and are looking forward to our trip to Peppa Pig World and Passover. I have finished all my menu planning for the week, and now, with our homeschooling all planned and prepared, it is really time for us to start thinking about our plans for the garden.
I have ordered seeds and some plants, too, and I can’t wait to share some more about our plans with you, soon.
Have a wonderful day.
