The second plague: Frogs.
“And the Lord said to Moses, “Say to Aaron, ‘Stretch out your hand with your staff over the rivers, over the canals and over the pools, and make frogs come up on the land of Egypt!’” So Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt, and the frogs came up and covered the land of Egypt.”
These adorable paper plate frogs are really fun to make, and they are so easy that you can happily make a whole lot of them. It is a plague, after all!
To make your own paper plate frogs you will need:
2 paper plates for one frog
Green paint
Eye stickers
Red ribbon
Gluestick
Scissors
Paintbrush
We started by drawing the frog’s legs and arms onto one paper plate. We used the wavy outside of the paper plate for the webbed hands and feet of the frog.
We then cut out the legs and arms.
Next we painted a whole paper plate completely green and also painted the arms and legs.
Once all the parts had dried we used the gluestick to attach the arms and legs to the underside of the green paper plate.
To finish our frogs we added sticky eyes and a ribbon for the long tongue!
That’s all you need to do to make your own paper plate frog!
Make lots and have fun!
