Christmas Craft – Mini Felt Stocking Decoration

These little stockings are an easy craft for children. You can turn the finished stockings into a little bunting, an ornament or just a little decoration and decorate them any way you like. You can even spell out “Merry Christmas”.

Felt Christmas Stockings

You will need:

Red and white felt
Glue
Ribbon
Decorations like buttons, sequins, stickers
Glitter glue
Tape
Scissors

Start by cutting out a little boot shape from the red felt and a matching white strip of felt for the top of the stocking.

Glue the white part to the top of your little stocking.

Now your stoking is ready to decorate!

We spent over an hour decorating our little shapes, everyone had a lot of fun.

Make lots and lots of these little boots and let them all dry.

When your Christmas stockings are dry you can glue them to some ribbon or string to make a little bunting to hang over your fireplace,

or you can attach a loop of ribbon and make a little ornament.
