I have yet to meet a child who doesn’t love dinosaurs, and with Jurassic Park about to be released in 3D there are, of course, many grown-ups who love dinosaurs, too. As you know we love Schleich animals, and these beautiful Schleich models are sure to impress! The anatomically correct, hand painted models and figures are a perfect introduction to the world of dinosaurs, and with each dinosaur’s name written on the belly of the model these not only make a fun gift, but an educational one as well.

The MyStyle Deluxe Charm Bracelet kit is ideal for any budding jewellery designer. It allows your child to create silver bracelets almost identical to those that sell for high prices in jewellery stores. Your little one will love making her own creations to wear herself or share with friends. With so many pieces per box they can even invite a friend over for a fun afternoon of crafting and creating!

The Technokit Rivetz are a puzzle with a difference. An ideal present for children who love to construct, these glossy, decorated pieces of card fit together to create a giant model of a hornet. The unusual thing is that the pieces get screwed together with rivets, with a special rivet gun which is included in the kit. The rivet gun can even remove the rivets without damaging the card, so the models can be taken apart again and again, making it a great choice not only for children who want to make a model to display or hang from the ceiling as a decoration, but also a great toy for sharing with friends and working together with a sibling.

When I was little I absolutely loved Bananas in Pyjamas, and now they’re back with a brand new collection of toys, including an interactive Banana 1 and Banana 2 who talk to each other using infra-red technology.
As well as working together the Bananas also work individually, singing and dancing. They would make a brilliant toy for siblings, encouraging co-operation and creative toy. The Bananas are super soft and well made, they will be your little one’s friend for a very long time!

the green rocket would be my daughters wish list, she loves science!

  9. Oh darn it, I’d decided not to take part…but I’ve changed my mind! Top of Calixa’s wish list this year seems to be the new Furby. Which would be out of the question at £50 if it weren’t for the fact that her birthday is December 21st…and it’s hard to make it special because of that. Plus she really doesn’t need a double load of toys galore in such a short space of time. So one big pressie fits the bill for her birthday :)

  10. Ceri Sell says:

Dorian (18 months) wants anything to do with “CAR!” That’s what he shouts whenever he sees one lol!

9 year old Bethany would like a microscope for Christmas. If Santa can’t manage that she would like Decoupatch things as she loved helping out with the demo one in Hobbycraft.

  14. Jacqui Houlding says:

Top of one grandson’s list is anything Mario…but preferably DS games featuring Mario. Top of other grandson’s list is anything Lightning McQueen…especially as he’s just learned to say ‘queen’ and now tells me to put ‘Cars’ on TV every morning at 5 am when he wakes up! I am soooooooo sick of Cars 2.

  15. gemma says:

At the top of the the four eldest childrens wish lists are, a new scooter deck for Jasmine, A Ferby for Gypsie , A monter high doll for Summer and a wood work set for charlie. Eva is still to small to make her own wish list , but i have an inkling that a wooden rocking horse may be a priority as she loves making clippity clop noises when ever she sees a horse !

  16. Natalie says:

My boys want legos!!! We are going lego crazy here. And it’s so fun :) It gets them to be creative and imaginative. We get hours of fun with them. Since we just started….we need our collection to grow. Santa will help ;)

  17. linda leese says:

Mary doesn’t really play with toys so never asks for anything even when we go toy shopping we usually come home emptied handed but recently we spent a lovely day with another HE family at a park and they brought along a stomp rocket which Mary loved basically cause she could control it – so top of Mary’s list (most likely the only thing she will have) is a stomp rocket
