This week I am grateful for changes in our home, it is amazing what a bit of paint, decluttering and moving things around can do! ( Pictures are coming soon, I promise!)
I am grateful for my sweet Emi and I am grateful that she never gives up.
Learning to ride a bike has been difficult for her because for once it is something that did not work the first time she tried.
Reading, writing, maths, skipping, counting, even cartwheeling – they all came to her naturally, but this bike-riding thing, it took some practice!
I am grateful for friends who stay in touch, for rainy evenings, candle-lit dinners and for our Shabbat box.( more about that later, too!)
I am grateful for a whole box of hand knits ready to be passed on to someone who now has a use for them, for weekend plans and for freshly washed and dried quilts for extra warmth at night.
What are you grateful for?
Have a lovely weekend!

good luck on getting rid of your clutter
The bookcases look great, and well done Emi!
I love all the colours on the bookshelves. Can’t wait to see more of the decluttering and changes!
Well done Emi, it took our youngest a while to get the hang of cycling too.
Hello, I have been reading your blog for a while and wanted to comment and say how lovely your blog is. Your ideas and crafts are really inspiring.
I love the idea of Grateful Friday and wondered if you had a ‘Grateful Friday’ blog button I could use on my blog so that I could link the idea back to you?
Thank you so much for your lovely comment, Carol!
The button is on the latest “Grateful Friday” post now, thank you for the idea!
Wow, these beautiful book shelves satisfy so many things in me! I love how the books are colour coordinated and they look so neat…..you have inspired me! What a lovely week you seem to have had
Thank you, Suzanne! Sorting the books by colour has made it much easier to tidy.
