Waldorf Home: Summer Nature Table

The beginnings of a Summer Nature Table, a place to play out stories and keep the special things the little ones bring home from our nature walks.

A waterfall in the corner of the Nature Table turns into a playsilk river which runs past a meadow of crochet flowers while Mother Earth watches over the table.

The river turns into a beach full of our favourite beach finds: Seashells, seaglass and driftwood as well as some shiny glass marbles.

Eventually the river ends as a pond surrounded by playsilk grass next to a tiny fairy house.

I can’t wait to see how this Nature Table will change during the next months, I love seeing the little ones rearrange it, add things and use it during their games.
