Feels Like Summer

It sure feels like it’s summer!
We have spent the weekend doing a whole lot of gardening, playing and enjoying the beautiful sunshine.
Emi is loving the warm weather, her favourite thing to do is finding bugs and snails to talk to,
and she loves to pretend to be an Archaeologist and find pieces of pottery.

George and Arthur still love our sand and water table, and I think we might have to build a little mud-pie kitchen, too.
Today Anthony and Emily spent all day putting up a fence around the little one’s play area to make it safe for George.
George likes to explore and doesn’t quite understand “no” yet, and his judgement of what might be dangerous or not is not always brilliant, so for now we are just trying to keep him safe.

Some days are difficult with George, but I don’t think they are any more difficult that they would be if George wasn’t who he is. I would not swap our life for anything, and I would not change George if I could, because he is perfect exactly the way he is, just like Emily and Arthur.

I am so grateful for this sunny weekend and for my amazing family.
Life is good, dear friends.
Is it sunny where you are?
Have a wonderful day!

It has been sunny and warm where we are, until today. Back to cooler more spring like temperatures. But that is okay, I know summer is just hiding around the corner :)

Oooh it is really spring down here in Den Helder the Netherlands. The garden brings us so much fun, Brynne found alot of ladybugs, snails and worms. Anne-Meike loves to swing. There will be rain in the weekend but for now we enjoy the sunshine and the longer light period. Have fun this week with your familly and friends. Tomorrow I will put the strawberryplants into the garden and do some mowing in the backyard.
