This week I am grateful for…
..using up the last beeswax candles which are left over from the long, dark winter, their sweet smell about to be replaced by the smell of fresh flowers. We are ready for spring.
I am grateful for homemade pizza,
for our family abroad sending us lovely things,
and for some quiet time spent re-reading an old favourite book.
What are you grateful for?
Have a wonderful weekend!

I am grateful for such a beautiful English spring day ( lovely enough to be drying 3 loads of laundry on the clothesline), the happy chattering of my soon to be 3 year olds as they play in the garden & just for being alive. x
That sounds lovely, Jen!
What is the name of that book? I have just been reading the part visible in your photo.
It is “The History Of Love“, and it was actually the inspiration for calling this blog “Here We Are Together” !
Wonderful things to be grateful fo. This week I am grateful for summer like days in March, dinner on the back deck with my family, phone calls from my parents who are wintering in the south and sharing quiet moments with my little man.
Enjoy your weekend.
hi miri. that candle photo is lovely. it makes me feel the end of winter.
i love the radicalness of your family going into german for 100 days. are you and your husband fluent? one of you from germany?
hope your weekend is good. i’m loving the leonard cohen quote so much. put it on my sidebar. thanks.
