Making Plans

I think I have to stop making plans.
I was going to share a Spring Bingo printable with you today, but it did not turn out quite how I had hoped,
and between Speech Therapy, grocery shopping and blood tests I just have not been able to draw a new one at all.

We love playing Spring Bingo. We draw a few spring-y things onto a bit of paper and see if we can spot them all on a Nature Walk.
My friends Vikki and Kristin helped me come up with this year’s Springo.
On our Spring Checklist are these things:

Flowers
A Rainbow
A Bumble Bee
A New Leaf
A Baby Animal
Rain
An Easter Egg
Frogspawn

We haven’t had much luck yet, though we did spot a whole lot of rain this week.
Luckily the rain gives us a chance to do some more science experiments, (We use this kit.)
Emi likes making pretend tadpoles and invisible worms.

We have been having to arrange our science experiments around Arthur’s naps, even though he is getting a little better at falling asleep these days.
(He’s holding the adorable organic cotton Haba pure nature musical bunny, he has been carrying it around all week. He especially likes holding on to the ears while he falls asleep.)

Tonight we are having homemade pizza for dinner, a real treat. We are still trying out new recipes in our breadmaker,
and only just recently discovered a perfect Challah recipe, making our Shabbat celebrations easier.

Anthony brought home these fun flowers today, and I think we might be able to re-create them by cutting white flowers and putting them in some water with food colouring.

It will definitely be fun to try.
What are your plans for this week?
If you are interested in meditation with little ones go and take a look at my friend Angie’s blog, she wrote about meditating with children, how to get started, what to do and not to do and other inspiring things!
Have a lovely day!
