Felt Autumn Leaf Bunting Pattern

We made this little bunting yesterday, and as it looks so pretty I thought I really should share it with you.
We cut the pattern pieces out of cardboard, traced them onto felt, one of each onto red, orange and yellow wool felt,
then just attached them to a long felt string.

We will definitely have to sew up some more of these!

Here is a pattern for you to use if you like, or just find a leaf outside and trace around that!

We will have to make some more for the Nature Table, too!

Wishing you a lovely day.

I am so loving all your autumn preparations! I’ll have to dig out our felt stash very soon :-) .

I love the autumn! I could smell bonfire smoke in the air one day last week!

We made a felt leaf garland last year, truth be told I’m not relishing Summer being over, so have shelved an Autumn table at the moment!

Autumn for me usually = joint pain due to the damp and cold aggravating my bones, so I guess I’m a warm weather gal at heart!!

Love your sharing of your days

Lovely. I agree the autumn preps are so exciting. But we’re nowhere near finished yet (our first year of Waldorf inspired education you see).

i came to your site through a series of journeys connected to SouleMama’s blog. what a beautiful blog you have here! i love the little crafty moments you have with your kids and that you share with us and i also love those grateful fridays i believe they are. i read a quote lately that said ‘ if you woke up tommorrow with what you were grateful for today, what would it look like?’ and that challenged me to be alot more open eyeed about the blessings in my life. i am particularly intrigued by the alphabet paintings you have on your wall in that last picture. where did you get them from? they look fabulous!!!
