When it comes to living a natural or Waldorf life we have to make a whole lot of choices.
One of these choices is what kind of clothes we wear, where we buy them and how we show respect to the people who make them.
In our family we buy Fair Trade and choose handmade items over cheaper clothes.
Sometimes it can be difficult to find nice Fair Trade clothes for children, so today I’d like to introduce you to Su Su Ma Ma , a small, UK based company who design, make and import beautiful, fairly traded clothes from around the world.
They were kind enough to send us a pair of their knit leggings to review, and I can tell you, they are wonderful.
Emily chose the colour combination “forest & lime” , and when they arrived she was so happy to see that they look just like something a fairy or an elf would wear.
The colours are beautiful and gentle, and the 100% cotton knit is so soft that she did not even want to take them off when she went to bed that night.
All of the clothing available at Su Su Ma Ma is manufactured to Fair Trade guidelines by small, mostly family run businesses.
These beautiful knit leggings were made in Nepal.
Because they are 100% cotton knit they are always just right, warm and comfortable.
Especially with the weather getting just a little bit colder now they are perfect for our early morning Nature Walks, trips to the beach or even just for sitting & reading.
If you are looking for natural, fairly traded, affordable clothing , then Su Su Ma Ma is definitely the place to go.
You can read more about their Fair Trade policy here, or go straight to their latest items.
Have a look around their shop, I am sure you will find something you like.
Wishing you a wonderful day.
