During the summer it can be difficult for little ones to fall asleep & stay asleep, it just always seems to be sunny outside!
Not wanting to use blackout blinds we thought of a quick & beautiful solution to those early mornings and late nights:
A Stained Glass Window made from tissue paper!
I first saw this over at Filth Wizardry and have been waiting for an opportunity to try it ever since.
Emi chose the colours herself and wanted mostly pink and purple with a bit of red and orange.
I think it turned out so pretty!
We will definitely have to make some more around the house.

Another fabulous idea! We have so much trouble with sleep here. I think having a stained glass window would be so helpful. Beautiful, too!
