Emily has been doing a lot of actual learning recently, by her request.
We have been playing school, packing snacks , writing on chalkboards and “doing homework“.
Her favourite seems to be learning poems, so each day we learn a new one and draw a matching picture.
Of course she has been making up little poems by herself,too:
Emi’s restaurant is a great place to be,
but not for Captain Hook or Smee,
just for you and me.

Some rhyming books that we like are Poppy Cat, A Caribbean Dozen and ABC Animal Rhymes.
