Music Basket

We have slowly been filling our music basket with more interesting instruments.
Today our (new and already very much loved) postman brought us some jingly birds ,

some ping-pong-shakers,

and a pan flute.
Of course the new instruments had to be tried out immediately!

Arthur’s favourite are the shakers!
(Can you believe it’s his 1st birthday tomorrow?)

The pan flute will take some practising to get it to sound right,

but I’ve got a feeling there won’t be any complaints about that!

I love adding to the music basket, there are so many possibilities!
(We will need to get one of those thunder-drums!)

Do you have a music basket in your home?

Wishing you a wonderful day!

  1. Oh that shaker is beautiful! And the pan flute looks like so much fun. Our music basket has gotten smaller and smaller over the years. I think it’s time to get new guitar strings, pull out our 1/16 violin and harmonica and build it up again!

We have a music basket and love it. My parents brought us a wooden croaking frog from Vietnam, that’s our most exotic instrument. Various shakers, a drum, a xylophone, harmonicas, bells, tambourine, African gourd rattle, …love the pan flute, where did you find that?
