I am so glad I can finally share this little tradition with you!
Every year, during the weeks leading up to Christmas, Emily and me have one very special late-night crafting date.
She never knows when, but she is always really looking forward to it.
When the boys are asleep I sneak into her bedroom and wake her gently with a little Christmas song, then we tiptoe downstairs together and start making presents.
It means so much to me,that little bit of Mama-Daughter time, sharing our hopes, secrets and ideas,
it really is one of my favourite things about the holidays.
I hope you had a lovely Christmas,
Wishing you a wonderful day!

What a delightful tradition! So special for both of you. Love and light to you and your lovely family.
What a great tradition – special mummy-daughter time! I have 3 daughters, but I try to find things that are special to each one to do indiviually with them too

Love that idea! I might just have to steal it for next year. It is so important to have some mom-daughter time, with all those boys around…
That sounds so lovely! I can’t wait for mommy-daughter time with my little one… we have a lot of that now (she’s 6 days old), but it’s mostly her at the breast or cuddled in my arms – I love it, but I also can’t wait for when she’s older so I can craft with her too!
I adore this tradition. What a lovely way to make your precious girl feel so special…She is one lucky little one!! Have a blessed New Year!
HAPPY NEW YEAR from Australia – where it’s 2011 already
