Old Freedom Train Alphabet Book GIVEAWAY!

When illustrator and writer Shayne Jackman asked me if I would like to review her new book and frieze, called Old Freedom Train I was so happy that I did not only say yes, I believe I said goodness, yes please!.

Now, as you know, when an exciting letter arrives the little ones are just as happy about it as the grown-ups, but you should have seen the joy on their faces when we opened the beautiful packaging.
Both the alphabet frieze and the book are printed on 100% FSC certified recycled paper, and the hand drawn (yes! ) pictures that illustrate this beautiful Waldorf alphabet are amazingly peaceful.

After a quick re-arranging of our drawing-table wall I put up the alphabet frieze , and the joyful and gentle mood immediately spread across the whole room.

The Steiner inspired Alphabet Book is truly, truly beautiful, too.

The full page drawings are matched with either a song, a saying, or a rhyme to help little ones merge thinking with feeling , and this alphabet, well, you really do feel it.

P1350164

It is definitely a new favourite in our home,
and we of course all have a favourite page, too.

Emily ‘s favourite is F for Fairy ,

P1350159

Boo chose H for Home,

P1350158

and my favourite, well,
it’s M for Mother!

P1350160

We are so grateful for this beautiful book, & because it’s such a brilliant quality it is really okay to read this over and over again without thinking it might break.

Now, I obviously would not show you this amazing Alphabet Book without also having one to share,
so we are giving away one copy of Old Freedom Train , Steiner Inspired Alphabet Book.

For your chance to win,
please tell me which of the letters is your favourite.
