A room a day: the bathroom

We took the weekend off and spent Saturday in bed together watching a family movie. (we love iTunes!)
Sunday we went to Nanny & Grandpa’s house and had lots of fun, but today, well, today it was time to continue our un-packing, sorting and tidying.
It’s difficult moving to a house that has essentially three rooms less than your previous home, but I think we are doing okay.

Today we finished the bathroom, it was quite a challenge as there is no storage, but we found a few baskets that were used for our craft supplies before and they work just fine.

The best thing about our bathroom? It’s got a bathtub! I know, you might think -why would it NOT have a bathtub?- , and I am not sure I ever told you, but in our last home we only had a shower. Of course that meant that Mama could find the box of bath toys that had been stored in the garage for almost two years, and we even got a new baht toy for each of them, too.

The little ones are so happy with the new bath, especially since they discovered the bubble mat. It’s noisy, but it is oh-so-good!

(I promise you that this is Georgie’s happy face.)

I don’t think I need to explain how Emily feels about it!

While it didn’t make a huge difference to our mess, I do think the bathroom is a success!
Have a lovely day!
