Emily has been really interested in other people’s jobs recently, & after asking police men , lollipop ladies & shopkeepers about their daily tasks she decided that she wanted to be a postman when she grows up.
Of course a postman needs a postbox, so yesterday, when we were late for church & everyone was inside already, doors closed & all, Daddy & Emily decided to go home & use the time to make just that for her.
To make your own post box you will need:
a big cardboard box
a red paper tablecloth
glue
a knife or scissors
a paintbrush
black paint or a black marker
How to:
Cover your box in glue & add red paper,
Let a grown-up cut out a little rectangle for the letters:
Paint on the word “Post” (or “Mail“),
& you are done!
Have fun!

what a lovely idea! K would love that!
Are you going to write letters to Emily and put them in her post box?
This is so cute! Spookily we had a similar project here very recently – Lillia and Daddy created a postbox with a couple of cereal packets and a lot of red paint! Lot of paint on my carpets too, hmmm…!
