how does your garden grow?

After having read “two little gardeners” over & over again for the past months, Emily was thrilled when I told her about the lovely gift that the nice people from the BBC had sent our way;
carrot, squash, lettuce, beetroot & tomato seeds!

We immediately put on our “gardening aprons”, (mine being a sling with Georgie in it..)
& went outside to find some dirt to plant our seeds in:

My little gardener had a great time putting all the dirt into little pots,
she loved planting the seeds & is very excited for them to grow.
They are on our nature table for now,
ready to be planted outside when they are ready.

Wishing you a productive day!

    What a lovely gesture from the folks at BBC. Happy gardening!

    We had these too, although I’m already totally overrun with seeds so I’m not sure why I applied for them! But yes, we grow as much as we possibly can, both in our back garden and on a half allotment plot.

    Hi Miri :o )
    Thanks for saying hi on my blog yesterday! Your blog looks great, I’ll be having a proper read later today :o ) Nice to ‘meet’ you!

  4. What a cute gardener! I used to grow some of my own food (before DS), but now just do a few herbs in pots. Looking forward to doing more in the coming years to be sure. I used to have a strong desire to live off the grid, but after having DS, I realize there’s no way I could be self (or nearly self)-sufficient!
