Today we heard back about the house we love,
& it looks like we are moving in really soon.
I can’t wait to start packing everything into boxes & move to the new place.
Of course I will always love this house, it was our first home, but the other house felt like home the second we walked through the door.
Also, the postman handed me two packages this morning:
Some lovely linen & muslin from Anthony
& this gorgeous vintage flower brooch from the very lovely Julia.
I love it, & I can’t wait to wear it, thank you!
Now that we know about the house I want to sew & knit a lot for it,

The brooch is so lovely.
DS has the softest yellow baby blanket, crocheted for him by my aunt. It’s definitely one of my favorite handmade home things.

Oh, I forgot, I think for your new home, lots of handmade cushions for your sofa they’ll be so easy and quick to make with your new sewing machine. I make them with an envelope style closer because I hate messing around with zips!
