Spring came suddenly this year.
No shy flowers slowly finding their way through the muddy ground, no few minutes of sunshine here or there followed by a lot of grey.
When we got up this morning we could all feel it, we all knew.
The birds were singing, there were flowers in our garden, the sun was shining.
It was a day for firsts, for our first meal in this lovely new season, the first meal of the year to be prepared & eaten outside,

(as soon as the weather allows it every meal will be eaten outside)
The first of many plays with water & sand,

The first flowers picked to come inside with us,

& a very first, the first handfull of green grass, touched, smelled, felt, licked.

It was a good day,
a spring day.
How are you? Does it feel like spring yet?

How lovely! Happy spring, friends!!
Ohhhh… Hier in Deutschland bisher nur Regen… Aber man wartet weiter!
Viel Spaß beim im Matsch Spielen! Anna.
What a sweet picture of your darlin’s hands! If all your meals look as yummy as that, I’m inviting myself over
Hey miri! I miss you. I’m glad its spring there. Its not even close to spring here, I don’t think. There are days when its lovely and sunny and springlike, and the plants think its spring, but the weather isn’t convinced, and keeps returning to cold and grey and rainy. I’ll know its spring when the wind howls. For now, I’m enjoying the last bits of winter while the hills stay green. I just got back from the midwifery conference and it was WONDERFUL. I meant to email you before I left and I’m sorry I didn’t, I was a touch slow in packing and it hit that point where I had to leave or miss my train and didn’t get to write the email.
I miss you. I’ll talk to you soon! love,
Caroline
Spring has come to Kentucky as well! And I am just ridiculously excited about it.
