Last night was wonderful,
I was sewing on that old machine while a little one was fast asleep in the sling.
It was so peaceful , no one hiding in their bedroom because it was too noisy, no broken fingernails from handsewing, & i actually got something done!
I decided to use some those vintage buttons for a pair of booties for George,
but when I put them on him Emily was really quite sad because she did not have any, so I made some for her as well.
They look a bit … wonky, because I didn’t exactly use a pattern, but they are quite comfy.
I tried to take a better picture, but
Darling, can you hold still for just one second,please? seems to mean
Please jump up & down & do a little dance around here.
We are off to have Sunday Lunch with the family,
