Purim preperations

Today was a busy day,
I tried to find a nice mini book on purim to print & give to each child, but because there weren’t any ,
I made one. (the link will take you to pictures of the book, if you want the book to print it for yourself just email me!)
It’s a very simple version of the story, & very harmless as well,
so today I spent the day writing, drawing, printing, cutting & glueing 27 mini books.

Now, just 60 Hamantashen to bake & 27 little bags to sew & noisemakers to build & we are all set..

Wishing you a productive day!

  1. That’s adorable! How clever you are! I found an easily veganizable recipe for hamentaschen…would it be disrespectful for us to make them and celebrate Esther’s faith and courage?

Wow! What a beautiful idea! The books are adorable! You are very talented! Did you know that Humantash are called OZNEY HAMAN in Hebrew, which means Haman’s ears (Humantash is their Yiddish name)? Happy Mishloach Manot preparations!

ohhh, noisemakers! I’m always fascinated by the activities you plan each and every day for your children!

I was looking for the simple (couple of sentence on the page) story about Purim, so the younger children can understand it. All the stories are to long and complex for a very young child to understand. Unfortunately there are not so many books about Jewish culture/holidays are available, unless you live in a predominantly Jewish neighborhood. Your story seems to be very nice. Would appreciate if you can sent me a link, so I can print the book and use it in class (2-3 years old children).
    Thank you for your help
