Time seems to fly by,
& I often am sad about it.
I want to remember each little moment,
all of Emily ‘s silly songs, every single one of Georgie’s tiny yawns,
all the stories we read & games we play, and of course the good morning hugs & night-time snuggles,
so today we decided that we should have the slowest day ever.
We stayed in bed till it felt right to get up,
dressed up in our silliest outfit,
(other things we like to dress up as are “favourite historical person”, “favourite animal”
& “favourite food”),
then jumped & danced on the sofa,
read all of our favourite books,
& when it got dark outside we got ourselves a nice cup of tea, decided to light a candle
& snuggle up on the sofa to read even more!
today was a good day. ♥
I hope your days are full of happiness & lots of snuggling & reading!
ps// you might have noticed that Emily currently uses a plastic teapot & cup .
If you know where to get a nice children’s size teaset please let me know

what a nice day… we actually had a similar one with the ‘rain’ that we almost never have here in the desert. It was just lovely. I have been enjoying your pages and your love of being a mom. Nothing better. take care and I look forward to hearing more.
But I want to see YOUR outfit
. Such a lovely day! I just typed “children tea set” into google and several really lovely sets came up. Of course it would mean shipping charges, but some of them are lovely
.
What a lovely blog! These photo’s are simply beautiful and full of memory making! My favorite is the tea and book photo!
this was truly just lovely…
Sounds like a lovely day! It’s been a good one here, too, well still is. We have a friend over, and I just love to hear them play while the littlest guy sleeps on my lap and I get to visit some blogs…
So much sweetness leaves me breathless… thank you so much for sharing that lovely day
I love Miss Emily ‘s silly outfit.
Funny the Bear just asked for a teaset this very day. So I am going to join you on the search!
We have a nice one from IKEA. I can e-mail you a picture if you’d like to see what it looks like.
