Rainy Days

It has been raining today, really stormy even.
So we did not build any fairy homes, & we did not go
down to the beach but instead cuddled up on the sofa
with good books & boardgames , some drums to shoo the
thunder away & warm handknit socks.
Even though I miss being outside,
I love the rain, I love to be inside where it is warm & cozy,
& I love holding my family so very close.

    What a gorgeous photo!! :-) I love being snuggled in on a rainy day, myself. DS has taken to digging in the dirt of late, so that’s pretty much our weekend :-) . Keep warm.

    I love the look and feel of your blog, very cozy and lovely. We have been having some very cold and snowy days here, so we’ve done a bit of playing in the snow, but mostly inside just trying to get the chill out of our bones!
