Splash Painting is an activity for
a rainy day, for a child that needs a bath anyway,
& a table that doesn’t mind getting wet..
It started with -foam printing- , where we added
food colouring & soap to hot water to make colourfull
bubbles. We then wanted to put the paper on top of
that to create a print. That was the idea, anyway.
It quickly turned into Emily splashing & spilling the water
with the four wooden sticks i had given her to make
more bubbles. i’m sure this was a lot more fun than
foam prints would have been 
Children can teach us so much about letting go , & about enjoying the process rather than the result..
